Kathleen T. Madigan is an attorney with the law firm of Nirenstein, Horowitz & Associates, P.C. She has more than 20 years of experience practicing law and focuses her practice on estate planning and elder law.
Ms. Madigan earned her Juris Doctor degree from Pace University School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Prior to joining Nirenstein, Horowitz & Associates, P.C., Ms. Madigan served as in-house counsel for a residential treatment organization, where she handled a broad range of mental health litigation cases and guardianship matters in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts. Her work included matters involving children and families and contested adult guardianship cases. Her work in these areas gave her a deep understanding of the legal, personal, and family issues that arise when an individual can no longer make decisions independently, and the importance of having the right plan and protections in place before a crisis occurs. She works with clients to develop thoughtful, comprehensive estate plans tailored to their individual circumstances, goals, and families.
